Gott Kinesiskt Nytt År! Eller Xin Nian Kuai le, som det heter på kinesiska, fast kanske Gong Xi Fa Cai, en önskan om välgång och rikedom under det kommande året är mera traditionell. Det officiella nyåret går från 25 januari till och med 31 januari, så det är inte försent att fira ännu!

Man firar med släkt och vänner, länge och väl, framförallt genom att äta och dricka, gärna kopiöst, och det skall vara livligt "renao-renao" som närmast kan översättas med bullrigt, eller livligt.

Då är det här, det nya året, oxens år. Några websidor för det nya året är http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/info/horoscope/index.php som är Kung Fu magazines websida, och http://www.chinesefortunecalendar.com/ men lite festivalinslag, bland annat från Los Angeles.

Vi firade med en Tai Chi-uppvisning på Gaustav Adolfs torg, mycket folk!

Ett tips från weben, se till att ha färska blommor hemma om du vill ha ett bra år – och det kan ju inte skada!

Och här kan ni få en liten förklaring till uttrycket Gong Xi Fa Cai, höra det väl uttalet och så se de vackra skrifttecknen. Därtill lite om andra relaterade uttryck. http://goodcharacters.com/newsletters/gong-xi-fa-cai.html
